eMachines is really a accer computer
eMachines started as a brand name in 1998 and continued manufacturing for six years. In 2004 they became a subsidiary of Gateway computers. Gateway sold the division to the Taiwanese company Acer Inc in 2007. eMachines is the second largest manufacturer of desktop PC's in retail stores in the United States. So theoretically, no named individual invented the eMachines, Acer Inc is a large computer manufacturing company. "Acer" is just a 'cool' name I guess. Hope this helped.

To insert a memory card into an eMachines computer, first locate the card reader, which is typically found on the front or side of the computer case. Insert the memory card into the card reader, ensuring that it aligns properly with the slot. Once inserted, the computer should recognize the card automatically, allowing you to access its contents through File Explorer. If your eMachines computer does not have a built-in card reader, you may need to use an external USB card reader.
The phrase "you get what you pay for" is generally applied to all PC's. E-Machines are generally made with cheaper parts. If you just need a computer for surfing the web or word processing, consider one, or a netbook.

This involves a bit of personal preference. I have had this ssame discussion with my computer guy. We both agree that for the price, performance, and reliability, HP seems to consistently offer the best computers. If you are not an HP fan, howver, I would advise you to stay away from acer's and eMachines. The only thing i've ever heard from acer is complaints about how cheap their laptops feel and operate. I would also defer you from eMachines because they are about as upgradeable as Macs ( not at all ). I own a HP desktop rig I've upgraded for hardcore gaming and it's great! I also own a Lenovo think pad and it's great for taking notes and browsing the internet. That leaves Toshiba... i have had little experience with Toshiba, but the experience I had was great! Although they do tend to be a bit pricey, their design and performance are top notch. The first one I used was for a graphic design class. It was a quad-core though so maybe that was part of why i liked it soo much haha. Hope this helped! On a side note, it also heavily depends on what you will be using your computer for that will decide what is best for you!
