Yes, I do believe it is a router. I as well have the same one. As far as I can tell it runs off a 3.5 G network (that might be rounded to 3G or hopefully 4G) but I as well am looking for some answers about it. There's not much literature on it. It's almost like it's a prototype in testing. It's been pretty good to me but I want to know how many Mbps it does so I can get a proper ethernet switch.
