True - some do not need it
It's not true. You can use a dynamic ip address to use remote desktop! Problem with dynamic ip addresses is that it can be changed any time, and you will not able to connect to your PC. The best way is to use full computer name. It does not depend on ip address.
no, you can use a modem, an example is dial up internet access :P modems are also used for remote connections
You can find a computer communication program online at the MSN and CNET websites. Examples of computer communication programs include Skype, MirandaIM, ICQ, AIM and QQ.
A hub, 4 CAT5 Cables, and every computer needs a NIC if they arent on-board.
Each computer needs a network card (NIC); you need a hub or switch; and for every computer you need a network cable to connect to the switch.
yes it hasexplained belowThe Adminpak.msi file that is available for Windows XP is commonly used to remotely run administrative tasks on Microsoft Windows 2000-based and Microsoft Windows Server 2003-based computers and domains. The Adminpak.msi file includes a version from the Tsmmc.msc file that is called Remote Desktops. This tool (formerly known as Terminal Services Connections) is available as an MMC snap-in.Windows Server 2003 provides the ability to connect to the console (session 0) of a computer by using a Remote Desktop connection. Because of this, a Connect to Console check box is available in the user interface, but this feature only works when you connect to a Windows Server 2003-based computer. It is still possible to use the Remote Desktop tool to connect to a computer that is running Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, Terminal Server Edition, or Windows 2000 Server with Terminal Services enabled, but this creates a regular Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) session. The option to connect to the console session is ignored. However, if you connect to a Windows XP Professional-based computer with Remote Desktop enabled, you will always connect to the console session whether or not the Connect to Consolecheck box is selected because Windows XP Professional allows only this one specific remote desktop connection.

Yes, you can connect an iPod Touch to a computer. Every iPod Touch comes with a cable, and that cable plugs into the bottom of the iPod Touch and the USB 2.0 port in your computer.
Nearly every memory card reader on the market is USB compatible, and simply plugs directly into one of your computer's USB ports.
well every phone has a USB and that's probably your solution :D hope it helped ;)
Remote Desktop is a feature of Windows XP Professional that allows you to work on your computer when you are not at your computer. This is simplest when you are on the same network (i.e. at work, but in another office) but can also be access through the internet using VPN (virtual private networking). To access a computer using Remote Desktop, it must have been enabled on the computer and the users that can access this facility have to be specified (except for administrators who will automatically have this permission). Every user account that is to use Remote Desktop must have a password. When you log in to your computer remotely, the welcome screen will be displayed on its screen, preventing other users from seeing your work. Any users that are logged in will automatically be logged out. You can access all of the applications and files that are on your computer as if you were sitting at your own desk.

Use a wii remote, works every time.
That means your remote start is in turbotimer mode. Basically the computer starts it up on a routine every once and a while. To stop it you could look in your manual and it should tell you how. If you dont have the manual, remote start it and hit the brake so it shuts off, that should stop it.
