This is depends on a number of things; many people have different opinions.
In my opinion, no. Someone should only need a mobile phone if they need to call someone. Since a parent basically run their lives they don't need to contact their parents. You might be thinking 'But what if they're in an emergency?'. Well, really a ten year old should not really be left alone to get into an emergency. A responsible adult should be looking after a young child not at home.
Also, a child needs to be taught the value of money and what a mobile costs before they could be trusted to use a mobile. I've heard many times of peoples children spending hundreds of dollars on one month of calls, usually to the surprise and dismay of parents. And this is with children much older than ten.
However, if a child was to be given a phone, a prepaid phone is the best bet. A parent would be able to set an amount they are prepared to pay each month for a child's calls. This way if a child runs out of credit, they will have to wait until they receive more credit from their parents. This will teach them to use a phone a little more responsibly and a parent wont have to worry about big bills.
No one had a mobile phone, cell towers & satellites (and mobile phones for that matter) were not invented yet. And few households had phone either. There were public telephone boxes everywhere to cater for most people.
False - because they can be both.A logically equivalent statement is:a) Smart phones & tablets are computers AND b) smart phones and tablets are NOT cell phones. To be a true statement both statements must be true. Since the statement "smart pones and tablets are not cell phones" is not true, the full statement must be False.Smart phones and tablets are computers.Smart phones are ALSO cell phones - they just have to also be computers in order to provide the additional functionality that makes them a "smart phone". Being one does not preclude them also being something else. Many people also use their smart phones as flashlights - which doesn't mean they are not also phones and computers. Some larger cell phones are classified as "tablets" to distinguish them from the more diminutive versions of the same product - so especially in this case those tablets are BOTH computers AND cell phones.
Yes, they are.
cingular.
For older cell phones, they are MIDI files with a .mid extension. Newer cell phones probably accept .mp3, .mp4, .aac, and .wav. And maybe other proprietary formats.
