It's been a while, but I'll take a stab at this one. Assuming this is a rectangular shape:
width = w
length = w + 12
perimeter = length + length + width + width
As stated above, p = 7w, so:
7w (perimeter) = (w + 12) + (w + 12) + w + w
7w = 4w + 24 (simplifying the above)
-4w -4w (getting all the w's on one side)
------------------
3w = 24
w = 8
Checking our work. Substituting 8 for w:
p = 7(8)
p = 56
P = (8+12) + (8 + 12) + 8 + 8
p = 20 + 20 + 8 + 8
p = 56
Pitch size is the sum of the (line width) and (space width) between 2 lines in a repeating pattern of lines to be printed on a wafer or something. half-pitch is the half of pitch size. Check double/multiple patterning for more.
You can but shouldn't. If you chose to do so, you would decrease the circumference of the wheel and therefore your top speed will be lower, but acceleration a bit higher. Your speedo will also read wrongly, but not by much, and it will overstate the speed. The real answer to this question comes from an understanding of what all the numbers mean. The 225 is the width of the tyre in mm. The 60 and 65 are the profile of the tyre, or the ratio of height / width. So, the height of the 60 tyre is 60% of the width, and the height of the 65 tyre is 65% of the width. The R means that its a steel radial tyre. The 17 means that it fits a 17 inch rim. The overall diameter of the 225/60R17 wheel and tyre combination will be 17 inches (431.8mm) plus 2 times 225 * 0.60 = 431.8 + 270 = 701.8 mm The overall diameter of the 225/65/R17 wheel and tyre combination will be 17 inches (431.8mm) plus 2 times 225 * 0.65 = 431.8 + 292.5 = 724.3 mm So, the answer in the first paragraph is correct. The explanation above is why. Only one more thing to add to the first paragraph. Using the 60 tyres instead of the 65 tyres will give you better braking performance. Or, in other words, your brakes will not have to work as hard to stop the vehicle, but you might be more likely to lock up the brakes, and skid. This is because the 'lever' length is shortened. i.e. The distance from the centre of the wheel to the road surface is reduced, by 22.5mm, so it easier for the brakes to stop the vehicle. This isn't a major problem, because you should get used to it relatively quickly. If you fit the 60 tyres instead of the 65 tyres, you will be travelling slower than your speedo indicates you are.
Technology has become far more important since ancient times as it has advanced. In ancient times, it was less important as there were almost no technologies available.
The minimum length available for a micro usb cable is 3 mm. The micro usb cable is considered to be far more durable that the mini usb cable. You can purchase a micro usb cable at Staples.

Let the width of rectangle is w cm (Length is 12 cm more) so length is w + 12 Perimeter = 16 times of width 2 (length + width) = 16 * width Rest of the homework, do yourself.
Width = 10cm.. i think Length = 68cm
Width = 9 inches Length = 30 inches
Perimeter = 2 lengths and 2 widths In your case length + width = 25cm If length is 5cm more than width then length = 15cm and width = 10cm
width=5 length=12
length = 22 meters and width = 6 meters
length 14cm, width 2cm This is worked out by finding the following equations: perimeter = 16 x width length = width + 12 Then working out 16 x width = 2 x (width + 12) + 2 x width -> 14 x width = 2 x (width + 12) -> 14 x width = 2 x width + 24 -> 12 x width = 24 -> width = 2cm Since lendth = width + 12, length = 14cm
Length = 20 m and width = 9 m
You don't have enough information to find the exact length of the width, but the width has to be less then 7.5 if it smaller then the length.
the length of a rectangle is 8 more than the width. the area os 345 centimeters. find the length and width of the rectangle
OK so we have two formulas: Length = width + 5 (since legth is 5 more than width) length + width + length + width = perimeter= 82 (form. for perm.) so we can replace every instance of "length" with "width + 5" since they are the same. width + 5 + width + width + 5 + width = 82 4xwidth + 10 = 82 4X width = 72 width = 23 so now go back and replace "width" with 23. length = 23 + 5 length = 28 There you go.
Let length be denoted by l, and width by w. Length is 4 ft more than twice the width => l = 2w + 4 five times the width is the same as twice the length increased by 10 feet. =>5w = 2l + 10 Solving the two equations we get l = 40 w = 18 So, the rectangle is 40 ft long and 18 ft wide.
