It is not imposible, there are many ways of doing this, mainly by using storage media such as a Floppy Disk or a blank CD. Other storage media include USB Pen Drives, External Harddrives. Another option, if you have a Googlemail/Gmail account, you can upload the document to Google Documents and then just sign in from home and download it to your Home PC. Also you can email it to your home computer, most emails let you send yourself an email, hotmail does. you can create a new email and put it to yourself, aka the email you are currently using to write it.
