The good reasons of having a photocell in a park are that it can be left alone once set up, can get energy for free (form the sun), it can store energy for long periods of time, but were there are advantages there are also disadvantages, which are it doesn't gain as much power at night or in low light conditions, its expensive to buy/ get set up.

hopes it helped :)

What is the cost in per KW for diesel generators?

A 20kW generator operating at 3/4 load will burn approximately 1.3 gallons of fuel per hour. So if you only include the "variable" fuel costs to generate electricity, you are going to get 15kWh of electricity from the 1.3 gallons of fuel. If your fuel costs $3/gallon, this would give you a variable cost of $0.26/kWh. You should be able to use "off road" diesel fuel that doesn't include all of the highway taxes. And you should include the "delivered" cost of the fuel. Of course the real costs to generate electricity from a diesel generator must include all of the fixed costs. You can buy a 20kW generator starting at about $5,000. If it lasts for 10 yrs, then that would only add about 5.5 cents to each kWh. You also need to add in maintenance costs and any installation costs.

Advantages of prototyping over sdlc?

SDLC models Advantages & disadvantages Advantages of Waterfall Model1. Clear project objectives.2. Stable project requirements.3. Progress of system is measurable.4. Strict sign-off requirements. Disadvantages of Waterfall Model1. Time consuming2. Never backward (Traditional)3. Little room for iteration4. Difficulty responding to changes Advantages of Spiral Model1. Avoidance of Risk is enhanced.2. Strong approval and documentation control.3. Implementation has priority over functionality.4. Additional Functionality can be added at a later date. Disadvantages of Spiral Model1. Highly customized limiting re-usability2. Applied differently for each application3. Risk of not meeting budget or schedule4. Possibility to end up implemented as the Waterfall framework Advantages of Prototype model1. Strong Dialogue between users and developers2. Missing functionality can be identified easily3. Confusing or difficult functions can be identified4. Requirements validation, Quick implementation of, incomplete, butfunctional, application5. May generate specifications for a production application6. Environment to resolve unclear objectives7. Encourages innovation and flexible designs Disadvantages of Prototype model1. Contract may be awarded without rigorous evaluation of Prototype2. Identifying non-functional elements difficult to document3. Incomplete application may cause application not to be used as thefull system was designed4. Incomplete or inadequate problem analysis5. Client may be unknowledgeable6. Approval process and requirement is not strict7. Requirements may frequently change significantly

What are examples of environmental technology?

Environmental technology refers to tools, methods, and systems designed to address environmental issues and promote sustainability. Here are some examples: Solar Panels: These are devices that convert sunlight into electricity. They are used to harness renewable energy, reducing dependence on fossil fuels and lowering carbon emissions. Wind Turbines: Wind turbines generate electricity by harnessing the power of wind. They are another form of renewable energy technology that helps reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Hydroelectric Power: Hydroelectric power plants generate electricity by harnessing the energy of flowing water, such as rivers or waterfalls. This technology produces clean energy without emitting greenhouse gases. Electric Vehicles (EVs): Electric vehicles run on electricity rather than gasoline or diesel. They produce fewer emissions than traditional vehicles, helping to reduce air pollution and combat climate change. Waste-to-Energy Plants: These plants convert waste materials into energy, such as electricity or heat, through processes like incineration or gasification. They help reduce the amount of waste sent to landfills while producing renewable energy. Smart Grids: Smart grids are modern electrical grids that incorporate advanced technology to improve efficiency, reliability, and sustainability. They enable better integration of renewable energy sources and support energy conservation efforts. These are just a few examples of environmental technology aimed at addressing pressing environmental challenges and promoting a more sustainable future.

How do photocells generate electricity?

Photocells, also known as solar cells, generate electricity when sunlight hits the cell and excites electrons within the cell's semiconductor material. This excitation causes the electrons to flow, creating an electric current. The current is then captured and used as electricity.

What are some advantages and or disadvantages of solar power?

advantages : it doesn't cause any pollution, because nothing gets burned. it's renewable disadvantages : it won't generate electricity if it isn't sunny. It is too expensive.

it is an eco friendly way to generate electricity. it doesn't cost much money and it does not pollute. the disadvantages though is that you need constant flow of water.

What is the advantages of incineration?

They produce energy that can be used in homes to generate electricity

What are the advantages and disadvantages of tides and waves to generate electricity?

Advantages of tides and waves for electricity generation include their predictability, reliability, and renewable nature. However, a major disadvantage is the high upfront costs of installing infrastructure to harness tidal and wave energy. Additionally, there can be environmental impacts on marine ecosystems.

What is the best energy to generate electricity?

It really depends. Why? There are many technologies that put to use of alternative energy to generate electricity. However, there are many advantages and disadvantages to the situation as well. Currently, nuclear energy is said to be the most efficient in generating energy. However, there are many possible consequences such as leakage of radiation and so on. Similarly, solar panels are seemingly good. However, since they are not as efficient, and they require large amount of space, there is a limitation where it can go. Thus, it really depends on how u define "best", whether which generates the most electricity or which one has more advantages than disadvantages.

What are some advantages and disadvantages of using wind energy to create electricity?

The advantage is that wind is renewable- it does not get used up. Disadvantages- the wind does not always blow, it does not blow at a constant speed, and it does not always blow where electricity is needed. It can be costly to generate and store electricity from wind energy.

The advantage of having solar power?

Solar power uses panels to absorb the sun and store it and then generate electricity. The advantages of solar power are you save money on electricity, you stop global warming, and you help society save money. The disadvantages of solar is very simply that solar doesn't generate 24 hours a day so you have to have another source of power.
