∙ 8y agoIf you mean the case on the actual computer, the terms are a computer chassis, tower, system unit, cabinet, base unit or simply case. Computer chassis is the most correct terminology.
If you mean a covering to do over a desktop, usually it's just called a PC dust cover.
If you mean something to put a laptop into to carry it, it's called a carrying case. Most are vinyl outsides with padding.
