Peripheral devices are anything connected to the main computer unit. These include monitors, keyboards, mouses, printers, external drives, and more.

It does not include the power cord.

The most important peripherals are the keyboard, the monitor, the mouse that you use to connect and move around your desktop, the printer/scanner respectively, and the speakers.
