When this happens, while you're in class you may not be able to see the whiteboard from a distance because your eyes are used to looking at things closely. But it's not only while you're in class, this can happen at anytime, like while driving, you may not be able to see signs from a distance. This is why it is strongly important to not look at the computer screen all day and get some nice exercise.
