What if your dad is really secretive and you've caught him looking dating sites and has to turn his computer away when you're in the room and its like you dont know your dad what should you do?

This is a difficult and awkward situation. However, it will always be on your mind until you get it resolved. Perhaps you could find a quite moment when you are doing something else together, when no-one else is around, and, in the general converation, ask him, "Dad, can I ask you a question?"

He might say "What is it about?" You could say, "well, something I'm confused about and it's troubling me."

Then, when he asks "What is it?", just ask him "The other day you were on the computer .... why were you looking at dating sites?"

Then just wait. He could react in any number of ways, but whatever he says, or even if he says nothing, just accept what he says, and thank him. And leave the matter at that.

Then change the subject. Ask about something else totally different, or tell him what music you like etc, or what you did at school today etc.

This will give him an opportunity to save his dignity. And you will have shown that you love and respect him. He will (then or later!) appreciate the way you handled the matter.

Doubtless you will feel closer to him and he to you after this problem is brought out in confidence between you both.
