Penguinshipping is the name for a romantic relationship between Kenny and Dawn off of Pokemon. They have known each other since they were in nursery school. They have been proven to be very close. Kenny even calls Dawn 'DeeDee'. Though nobody knows why he calls her that, Dawn did not allow him to tell Ash why he did when Ash questioned Kenny about it. ~Mightyena26~

In Pokemon does dawn like Kenny?
It seems thaat she doesn't, but in the episode "Getting the Pre-Contest Titters", Kenny saw Dawn for the first time in a dress and is speechless. Then Dawn, realizing Kenny notices her dress, she says to him, "Oh, I see! It's because you've never seen me in a dress before, right?" Kenny replies, "What!? That's crazy!..." Dawn asks him, "What's the matter, Kenny" Kenny says, "Nothing." Dawn questions Kenny, "Don't you think I'm pretty?" And Kenny, of course trying to avoid the subject, says, "Now listen here, I'm not going to go easy on you!"That's why I think Dawn doesn't like Kenny. Plus she teases him a lot, and you know what they say, when a girl or a guy teases the other, they don't like them.----My Opinion on it----Well, this ship is COMPLETELY debatable, since not many pairings have been canonized in the anime. PenguinShipping (the appropriate and widely used name for the afore mentioned pair) is the belief of a romantic relationship between the two. Main rivals for this are PearlShipping (Ash), and IkariShipping (Paul). So the relevance is debatable. In my case, since I'm a Poke-fan who's OTP is PenguinShipping, I greatly support this ship. Many hints are found in the anime, so one can decided whether they will support a certain pair.My official answer for this is:Unconfirmed! Is dawn perfect for ash on Pokemon?
Yes she is.Ash and Dawn have more hints than most shippings anyway. They high five often.Do wear different clothes a lot. But then There one other thing...Misty! People may say that their constant arguing is a Hint that they will have a relationship.But Ash and Dawn argue Less then anytime a Poke Girl argues with him.Dawn even dressed Up as a cheerleader to help him get some of his Gym badges. And when she visited him in Unova He kept taking interest in her asking for battles and how she was doing and when she was going to leave for a contest battle in Jhoto everyone thought she was GONE but wrong after Dawn left Cameron a boy that was late participating in the Unova Junior Cup missed the Plane to Jhoto for the Unova Ledge.There for if Ash is also participating in the Unova Ledge then he'll have to go to Jhoto where Dawn is now there for they'll see each other again.Plus when she came to visit Ash and Dawn again high fived. Dawn is the only girl that high fives with Ash.
