The H represents your hard drive. This acts like a storage facility. Things you download are stored in there! And you only have a certain amount of memory that can be used, before you can't download anymore. But you can always delete stuff from it.

However, the contents of RAM (Random Access Memory) are stored on the hard drive in the form of one or more paging files, allowing the operating system to realise more RAM than physically exists (virtual memory). The contents of RAM are also stored on the hard drive when the computer enters hibernation mode. Aside from that, hard-drives provide long-term storage of programs and files that can be loaded into memory as and when required.
