Too many to name. Everything to the design of microprocessors (e.g.the CPU, GPU) to the individual microprocessors, to the RAM, to the hard drives and technologies that it uses to interface with the computer (e.g. Serial ATA standard) to the USB ports and even the newest iteration of USB technology (USB 3.0) is a modern technology.
