Generally speaking -- PLC's are meant to be reprogrammed, possibly with fairly high level languages, RTU's are meant to be changed out when there's a problem (but may also be reprogrammable). RTU's are environmentally rugged. PLC's are more electrically/industrially rugged. Both are controllers. Both are meant to do something without required direct supervision. Both usually have CPU's, although I'm sure there is nothing stopping you from having an RTU whose functional logic is determined strictly from electronics.

what is difference between dynamic and volumatic compressor
blocking refers to when an input terminal cannot be connected to an output terminal because there is no path available between them i.e. all possible intermediate switches are occupied
what is difference between mild steel and stainless steel
Both are same no difference Both are same no difference
Using and gate - pla is programmable while pal is fixed
o
There is no difference between the controllers except the color. Each controller will work the Xbox the same way.
pla - programmable AND , programable OR pal - programmable AND , fixed OR
PLA: both AND and OR gates are programmable. PAL: AND gates are programmable whereas OR gates are fixed.
The positive + terminal is slightly larger.
Pretty much everything we use is a computer, whether they're programmable or not. game controllers have computers. smartphones are computers. monitors have computers in them. TVs also do. Cars have them. and of course, calculators are computers also.
architecture
8237 provides better performance, compared to 8257. The distinctive feature of 8237 chip is that it provides, many programmable control and dynamic reconfigurability features which enhance the data transfer rate of the system remarkably
Terminal provides infrastructure for the port to handle containers.
Programmable calculators allow the user to write and store programs in the calculator in order to solve difficult problems or automate an elaborate procedure. in casio programmable is denoted by an 'p' in end ex. FW321P
One is named X11 and the other is named terminal
