Content streaming monopolizes a lot of bandwidth. Videos especially are bandwidth "hoggers". Watching the occasional YouTube video probably isn't going to make too much difference. But streaming entire movies on sites such as Netflix will rack up broadband usage fast, which is especially important if one does not have access to unlimited broadband usage.
well it maters if you are using the internet you may have a very weak internet connection or it could be you hard drive it may have to be fixed
streaming of media , having a great demand in future, vod means video is demand is the most famous application of streaming of media files. virtual classroom like a service by educomp is another best feature of streams. another technological breakthrough is 2 way video conferences.
This is because some firewalls give less preference to UDP traffic. So its kind of a hack to get more effective bandwidth.
Difference between Internet speed and bandwidthInternet speed and bandwidth are technically different. Bandwidth is referring the maximum amount of data that can be transmitted in a fixed amount of time through the network while speed is the time taken to reach the data (in form of packets) from source to destination. So we can see bandwidth is a fixed one while network speed can vary. Network speed depends on many factors like the protocol using to send data, server efficiency ,network conjunction etc. In practical life auser feels the Internet speed by downloading certain files from server to his computer. Yes it is true high bandwidth really helps to download the file faster but there are some other factors are there. If he is downloading the file (consider a bigfile like video) from a slow server, he feels his Internet speed is very less. Actually his Internet bandwidth is good enough but the speed of data transfer is limited by the response delay of the remote server.Another factor really affect the Internet speed is the kind of protocol they use. The speed of data transfer vary depends on whether this connection is using a connection oriented protocol (TCP) or connection less protocol (UDP). As there is no error detection and synchronizing ,data transfer using UDP is always faster than the same in TCP. Here Internet bandwidth is a constant but the Internet speed vary.So in a nutshell Internet speed and Internet bandwidth are different. Internet bandwidth is the one which is assigned by your ISP and which is a constant (as long as your ISP keeps its promise) while Internet speed vary with remote server and theprotocol they use to send data.bandwidth is just a pipe and the speed is the amount of water that passes through...byeeeeee.....evanzdoh@yahoo.com
HP Blade servers can be used for supercomputers, research, storage, video streaming application, live Internet applications and intercontinental video game hubs. The HP Blade servers dominate the international server market by holding a share of half of this market.
Sites like YouTube stream videos. Video streaming will slow down your internet connection because it uses a lot of bandwidth. You can easily determine if you are streaming a video and stop it. Just close any video sites that you have open in your web browser and you will not be streaming anymore.
All ISPs offer internet and will have the same effect on online video games. It depends on network bandwidth.
Chromecast can affect bandwidth by streaming content over your home network, which can consume a significant amount of data, especially with high-definition or 4K video. This usage can lead to reduced bandwidth availability for other devices on the network, potentially resulting in slower speeds or buffering. If multiple devices are streaming simultaneously, the cumulative demand can strain your internet connection. To mitigate this, a high-speed internet connection and a robust router are recommended.
Your question isn't quite clear so I am going to assume you mean the bandwidth used by watching streaming video. According to Rogers' Express internet package that offers 60GB of bandwidth and equates it to 700 hours of YouTube. Some simple math later we find that you can watch 11 hours and 40 minutes (approximatly) for 1GB of bandwidth.
Most of today's laptops, netbooks and even tablets are quite capable of providing a decent quality video experience when streaming. The real dilemma is 1) Do you have a quality Internet service with fast download speed, and 2) what is the source of the video you are streaming. Many people become bent out of shape and cuss out their computer's when a streaming video stops and needs to "buffer" before it begins streaming again. In what may be a majority of cases, the problem is most likely that the server that you are streaming from has poor bandwidth or it's old and slow or heavy traffic.
A speed of 72 megabits per second is considered a good speed for most internet activities, such as streaming HD video, online gaming, and browsing. However, it may be considered slow for activities that require higher bandwidth, such as 4K video streaming or large file downloads/uploads.
Both can certainly widen the bands on your pants. Be careful! (From personal experience)
It means that every second, you can download 318kbps of information from the internet, that is a good speed the just web browsing, but if you want to do any video downloading or streaming, I would upgrade, you are getting about 1/3 of a megabit per second, and 8 megabits is recommended for full HD streaming
Streaming audio, or streaming video.
The advantages of bandwidth include the ability to transfer large amounts of data quickly, enabling faster internet speeds and seamless streaming, gaming, and video conferencing experiences. Higher bandwidth allows for more devices to connect simultaneously without degrading performance. However, disadvantages can include increased costs for higher bandwidth plans and potential congestion during peak usage times, which can lead to slower speeds. Additionally, not all areas have access to high bandwidth options, creating disparities in internet quality.
SCV (Streaming Content Video) is a video format commonly used for streaming applications, characterized by its ability to deliver high-quality video content over the internet. It typically incorporates advanced compression techniques to optimize file sizes while maintaining visual fidelity, making it suitable for various devices and bandwidth conditions. SCV files are often utilized in online video platforms and services that prioritize efficient content delivery.
I would say about 3 mbs or higher my conncetion is 1mbs or below and can stream but it lags quite alot..
