A bit is a 0 or a 1. It is a contraction of "binary digit". It doesn't have a size. 8 bits is a byte, like 00110001, and 1024 bytes is a kilobyte, but a bit is a unit that can't be broken down into smaller units; thus it can't be measured.
Binary digit or bit !
Bit is a binary digit; there is no full form of it.
To find out if you are running 32 bit or 64 bit you will need to press the Start Orb, go to Computer and press View System Information. It will tell you what version you are running there.
Bit "A bit is the smallest unit of data that a binary computer can recognize." Morley, Deborah (2010-02-09). Understanding Computers (Page 52). South-Western. Kindle Edition.
What is architecture?Architecture is the bit of the CPU (Central Processing Unit, or Processor) and/or software. The software can be an Operating System (such as Windows, MAC, or Linux) or even Video Games and other applications. The bit is the amount of data flow that goes through the CPU. Common bits today are 32-bit and 64-bit. If you have a 32-bit CPU, you MUST use a 32-bit OS (Operating System). If you have a 64-bit you can run BOTH 32-bit or 64-bit.What should you chose? If you have a 64-bit CPU, choose 64-bit. It can allocate more RAM (Random Access Memory) and can run both 32-bit and 64-bit software.Seeing x86?That is a 32-bit architecture. Why is it called this? I have no idea. What is a computer organization? When you install an OS, you are asked your name, and organization you work for. It is to register that computer in your name in case anyone needs to find out who it belongs to. If you don't have an organization you can put your address, or leave it blank.
A 32 bit data bus can send out 4 bytes at a time and can take in 2^32 in addressable memory
Yes.
largest prime no. 6-bit is 61.
fat32, 32 bit, 64 bit
A word in a computer is the native integer for that computer. In a 16 bit computer, a word is a 16 bit integer.
You need a 64-bit computer with a working 64-bit operating system. When you install java it will install the 64-bit, it will recognize you have a 64-bit computer and install it
Largest 8 bit unsigned number is 11111111 binary thus making 255 in decimal.
NO
A "bit" is short for binary digit.
