The worst computer is likely the Timex Sinclair 1000 or even the ZX-81.Both were small computers with a membrane keyboard. Internally, they used carbon-covered plastic connectors which were subject to dry rotting. The 1000 had only 2k of RAM, while the ZX-81 had only 1k of RAM. The graphics were poor on both and only in black and white and displayed through a common NTSC-based television set. There was very little software available, so most users were stuck with introductory programming languages such as BASIC.
