Upload speed refers to the rate at which a computer is sending requests to the server. The requests can be uploading a file or communication packets.
Increase your max upload speed. Vuze will limit your download speed based on your willingness to upload. Or find torrents that have more people seeding. Either would be good options to start with.
The TWC speed test checks internet connection speed by testing upload and download speeds to see how fast both are performed.
Outbound throughput simply describes the data bandwidth that a network device can send using. Kinda like a sustained upload speed.
The easiest way of conducting a test on broadband speed is to try a site like Speed Test. Go to the site click on 'Begin Test' and it will show you your ping, upload and download speed.
Each user of the same computer uses what we call CPU. The more CPU the slower your computer and Internet speed will be. You can have multiple users logged on at the same time which will slow your download and upload speed.
Your upload and download speed are dependant on what package you have with your Internet Service Provider (ISP). Upload speed is generally very low in residential connections, but the higher your download speed is, the higher your upload speed will be, in most cases. To increase your download speed you will have to contact your ISP and ask them to increase it, or complain if your not getting what your meant to get.
Yes it does, especially if your upload speed is very poor.
Yes
cant
Yes the main contributers to download speed is how much you pay for and how good the upload is from the server you could pay for a 20mb download speed but if the server only has an upload speed of 10mb you can only get a speed of up to 10mb

The download speed is typically the faster speed offered on broadband connections to the Internet. Most data plans for high speed broadband services feature a faster download speed, that an upload speed. This is fairly common and is called asymmetric. xDSL, aka digital subscriber line, has ADSL which is asymmetric, and SDSL with is symmetric. The download and upload speeds are the same for SDSL, and the download speed is faster with ADSL, but the upload speeds are slower. My cable connection for data, for instance, is 20mbps down, and only 1.5mbps up. This is an asymmetric plan which is fairly affordable, however, if I tried to garner a faster upload speed, my rate plan goes up substantially for what appears to be a small increase in upload speed (nearly double the monthly cost for a mere 768k faster on upload speed) and for some connections purchasing more upstream/upload speed isn't even an option as it is restricted due to the distance you are from the drop (as is the case with xDSL technology).
Too slow? that is amazing for upload speed! im trying to get me a internet connection like that! how much do you pay for it?
Speed is the difference between HDSL and ADSL. HDSL has high upload and download speeds whereas ADSL has a slow upload speed coupled with a high download speed.
ADSL

As a general "good internet speed," most video game console manufacturers recommend at least 3 Mbps of download speed and 0.5 Mbps to 1 Mbps of upload speed. Source: Gospeedcheck
