Usually, the telescope, the Hubble Space telescopes are some examples or telescopes. There are ground ones and also ones that are launched into space.
There are also rocket launches. They are basically, space shuttles/space ships that are launched into space to capture pictures, and used to take astronauts up there to study more about space.
Star charts are another example of technology that are used to study the night sky.Scientists use it to record down the exact mark of where the stars are...not really something that is tootechnical.
Satellitesare also used in these situations, too. They can take pictures, get closeups towards planets, etc.
Tecnology has changed us a lot like space transport . We now can send robots to oter planets to explore them. With that we can figure out if the Earth ever gets over populated, which planets we can live on. Also we can try to find life on other planets and learn how they can adapt in their environments.
Technology helps all aspects of life and research. Technology allows us to communicate with people across the globe. They allow us to get findings faster than we once could. Or even find different things that may be of use to us in a different part of the world.
You can find the definition of technology online at the dictionary website. Once on the page, type "Technology" into the search field at the top of the page and press enter to bring up the definition.
To provide solutions to problems
Information on careers in business and technology is widely available today. An individual can find this information in specific books and online through various resources.

Planets orbit stars, stars orbit a galaxy. Planets are not "on" anything. A lot of stars out there have planets - we are just finding out how many now that we have better techniques to find them. So probably all galaxies have at least some stars with planets.
Planets are not active emitters of energy, that would be Stars. Planets only reflect the energy (light) from nearby stars that they orbit. That is what makes it so difficult to find planets outside of our Solar System.
You can find the names of some 260 different stars with planets circling them here: http://exoplanet.eu/
Anywhere - all stars are hot and bright in comparison to planets.
Because stars not like planets revolve and stars last at the night sky for many many years even at your lifetime.
you can find many things like stars, galaxies, comets, planets
Here are some reasons to study the stars:Anything you study makes you smarterStudying other stars helps us to understand our own star better (you did know that the Sun is a star, right?)Studying stars helps us understand the galaxy and the universe betterStudying the stars helps us discover new planets that might support life
Hundreds of billions of stars, some of them with planets.
extra solar planets are not bright compared to the stars they orbit
There is absolutely no way to know how many natural satellites are in space. We are still finding some in our own solar system. Currently we can find some planets orbiting nearby stars but most that we can find are Jupiter like planets. The technology isn't accurate enough for detecting moons.
kind of you can find it on the stars and some gas planets and a little bit on earth
