If magnets and electromagnets were never invented, it is likely computers would not exist. The first computers required the magnetic properties of relays and/or vacuum tubes to function.
Even modern computers rely on magnetics to spin fans, spin hard drives, CD/DVD drives, produce sound, provide power through the power supply, increase voltage through induction, rectify power flow, and read/write data to hard drives, floppy drives, and other magnetic media.
who would buy used computers
Anyone have a source of information about the effective range of a magnetic field that would cause damage to computerized or other electronic equipment? I'm researching an option to use rare earth magnets to assemble something, but I want to make sure that it won't screw up the electronic equipment that will be close to the magnets (but not in direct contact).
Computers are a tremendously important tool in modern society, so for schools or colleges NOT to have computers would be folly in the extreme.
While I have no idea what a "delta person" is, I would expect them to use computers simply because just about anybody uses computers nowadays.
It depends how reliant they are on the computers. If their business simply uses the computers to keep their accounts up-to-date - they would simply wait til they were turned on again, and update the accounts manually from paperwork. However - if the business was reliant on computers for tracking vehicles, or displaying essential 'live' information - then the business would stop (and lose money) for the time the computers were unavailable.

History will repeat itself.
South Korea would now be dominated by communist North Korea
the Holocaust would not have happend without World War II.
I don't think it would have resulted in anything major or changed history. Others would have done what he did.

magnetic? metal sticky?
polar things that can attract iron
If you didnt get grades, you wouldn't care about what happened. You would slack off, and no one would even try to learn anyting new.
Magnets are used to make electric motors and generators. Without these electric motors and generators we would not have telephones, lights, electric heat, television, or computers. Some items that use electromagnets are: Maglev trains, car crushers, scrap metal sorters, telephones, computers, doorbells, tape recorders etc. Magnets are also used in compasses to show attraction and repulsion. Magnetized compasses are used to detect underground metal pipes.
STAPLES (TM) and WHSmith also you can get magnets from IKEA
No, why would magnets give you cancer?
