Typically the administrator account only shows on the welcome screen when there is no other user defined. Once a new user is created, the administrator account becomes hidden, but still accessible. You're guest account should be able to be turned off, provided you have administrator rights.

How do you retrieve a computer administrator account that no longer appears?

Computer Administrator will only show on the welcome screen when there are no other users defined. Once you create a user, Administrator will become hidden. Only way to retrieve this ( without a registry hack ) is to disable your welcome screen and fast user switching from the User Accounts option in the Control Panel. This will affect you in two major ways. . . 1) You will need to type out all of your Usernames when you log on. ( Including Administrator ) 2) You will no longer be able to switch between users while staying logged on. You will need to log off completely.

Is their a way to make different accounts on an acer computer with windows 8?

Yes. It doesn't matter what kind of hardware you have (in other words, it doesn't matter that it is an Acer specifically), but Windows 8, just like every other recent desktop operating system, supports multiple accounts. Just go to control panel (in desktop mode, go to settings from the sidebar that appears at the right side of the screen) and choose User Accounts. Click Manage Another Account and there will be an option to add a new account.
