Before installing your Heatsink and Fan to the processor you should be applying Thermal Paste. There are several hundred versions on the market and any good computer store will have ooddles of the stuff.
Ideally don't spend less that €10 on a tube. If its cheaper than €10 its generally useless. In some case, some of the more expensive thermal pastes contain an adhesive to ensure the heatsink sits better on the processor.

Well Technology is transferable, it can applied to new situations
A program is CPU bound if it would go faster if the CPU were faster, i.e. it spends the majority of its time simply using the CPU (doing calculations). A program that computes new digits of π will typically be CPU-bound, it's just crunching numbers. A program is I/O bound if it would go faster if the I/O subsystem was faster. Which exact I/O system is meant can vary; I typically associate it with disk. A program that looks through a huge file for some data will often be I/O bound, since the bottleneck is then the reading of the data from disk.
Laptop processors can be purchased from the following retailers: "Newegg", "eBay", "Whirlpool", "IBM Hardware", "Acs Parts", "Impact computers", "Computer shopper". Most of these are refurbished processors as there is no retail market for changing one's CPU.

Four beeps after installing a new CPU are a sign of memory error. You should try resetting your RAM.

Thermal grease to allow heat to transfer to the heat sink.
possibly overheating, make sure thermal paste and fan (if you are air cooling) were applied to the CPU also make sure your motherboard supports all your hardware
The biggest problem is always with thermal grease. It's hard to get it exactly right. The manufacturer usually tries to devise a more or less foolproof method to install the cpu and if you follow instructions you can do it.
Applied science is used directly with engineering by looking at how things work and breaking the processes down. The resulting information is used in new ways in engineering projects.
There are a number of improvements to improve PC speed. These either involve optimising PC without changing the hardware; or installing new hardware. The former can be achieved by the following: freeing up disk space, defragmenting disks, removing spyware, removing unecessary startup processes. Improvement via hardware upgrades occur by: upgrading the CPU, installing a SSD, installing a new hard drive, installing more ram, or installing a different type of RAM.
If your CPU is fried then you need to get a new CPU to turn your computer back on.
You will need a new CPU,as well as the booting software
Sometimes when you are installing new software or drivers for new hardware, your PC needs to reboot so that the changes can be properly applied to the BIOS.
You don't. The CPU is your processor. You can transfer files to a new HDD, one of the easiest ways is to slave up your old drive and copy everything over.
Only I7 CPU family, no other processors.
