∙ 10y agoThere are plenty of companies out there that will recycle old computers. Some of them will charge a fee to take them. Yet still others may even purchase them. It is advised that a person looking to have their computers recycled, do their research prior to making a commitment. Best Buy has begun a program where they will take any eWaste (No matter where it was purchased) for free, and recycle it.

Best Buy also has a recycling program which will sometimes earn an individual a discount off a purchase to replace the old equipment. The government's Environmental Protection Agency also has a site an individual can visit to find other local business that offer a recycling program.
