The network device that regenerates data signals without segmenting the network is a repeater. Repeaters are used to prevent attenuation of signals.
I would say an ethernet extender/booster/repeater.
A transducer.
Although some would suggest that a switch could segment a network (and it does use the MAC address for switching) more properly a bridge would be the answer if you are speaking of segmenting a network.
Device which are on the network and the traffic is passing thru it.
A node is a device connected to a network such as a computer or a game console. (Each device connected to a network is referred to as a node. A node can be a computer, printer, game console, or router.)
hub

a passive hub does not regenerate the signal received only let it pass

A Hub is the only network device for this type of job. Since a router stops broadcasts, it segments a network in a way. On the other hand, a switch does forward broadcasts but it creates segments because each switch port can be a network on their own.

The device you’re referring to is typically a router or a switch with VLAN (Virtual Local Area Network) capabilities. By segmenting the network into two or more parts, it reduces broadcast traffic and improves overall network performance. This segmentation helps isolate network issues and enhances security by controlling traffic flow between segments. Additionally, it allows for better management of network resources and can improve bandwidth utilization.
A network ready device is a device that has the potential to connect to a network, natively it isn't connected to a network, nor is it a network, but with the appropriate configuration and possibly with the addition of components could be connected.
A router
NIC Network Card Interface is a hardware component without which a computer cannot be connected over a network. It is card or chip which contains MAC address which actually helps to identify the device on the network.
