Before the creation of anti-virus software, there was no way to protect your computer from viruses.

Yes it can because, it may have been used before and then cleared but could still contain the virus that might crash the computer.. However, if it is brand new and has never been used before then no it can't crash a computer.

You would have to first determine if it is properly plugged up and getting power. Then you would need to isolate the area of problem.
If a customer needs some information from the old computer, it may still be recoverable until the computer is reformatted.

Maybe this virus could be affecting the functionality of the disc clean-up and is stopping it working altogether. If this is affecting your computer majorly, eg. crashes, slow downs, etc., and it is ruining your computer, then i would suggest doing a system recovery, which requires you to have backed up your computer. If you have not backed up your computer then tough luck. If you haven't backed up your PC then there is another way(if it still works scince the virus could've affected this as well), i am not sure what it is called but you sort of pick a date on this on screen calendar, and then your computer will restart and it will be like it was on the day you chose, say, the day before the virus struck, and it would "rewind" to then. If neither of these ideas work, then destroy your computer if you want to. However, if this virus isn't really causing a fuss, then try to forget about doing a disc cleanup and enjoy your computer :).
the bios is not a physical thing, it is a piece of software that the computer uses to boot. to get to the bios, press the del key while your computer is booting, and before it gets to the windows loading screen If you are not familiar with building or troubleshooting computers it is best that you do not attempt to change anything in the bios, you could cause your computer to not turn on if you mess with the wrong thing.

You can check the status of the PlayStation Network on the official PlayStation website or various online platforms that track service disruptions. If you're experiencing issues with the network, it's recommended to wait for Sony to resolve them or try troubleshooting on your end before contacting customer support.
If you mean troubleshooting, then it is the process of solving a problem. This is usually done in a technical sense, first evaluating the problem, then 'shooting' through ways to fix it. Whenever you have a computer problem, your best bet is to look up troubleshooting tips online, based on your problem. Many problems are very common and have been fixed before, so if you have a problem, doing a quick search can often help you solve it.
