To test her persistence and energy
There is no life as we know it on Venus. The only technology there is what we sent to Venus in the various probes sent from Earth.
it's hard to guess the details but, jesus will come again and bring you to heaven. It probabliy won't even happen in our life time. But, than agian, it could. For those of us who aren't Christian, the world will end in approximately 5 billion years. The sun, having run out of hydrogen gas to fuel its nuclear fusion, will lose its hold on its outer gaseous layers. These superheated gasses will expand outward and either engulf the earth, completely destroying it, or settle past Venus, making the earth molten once more. After this red giant phase, the sun will become a luminous ball of superheated iron known as a white dwarf, which would be incapable of sustaining life on earth.
Psyche had to perform three tasks for Cupid, the god of love and desire, as instructed by Venus, Cupid's mother. These tasks were given to test Psyche's love for Cupid and included sorting a pile of mixed grains, fetching a vial of water from the River Styx, and retrieving a box of beauty ointment from the underworld.
Venus asks Psyche to perform impossible tasks to keep her away from her son, Cupid. She hopes that Psyche will fail and be punished.
From the myth 'Cupid and Psyche', the tasks that Venus made her perform in order were as follows:Sort the seedsGet the fleeceGet the water from the River StyxGet the beauty from Proserpine
Psyche in order to win back Cupid.
Psyche must accomplish various tasks set by Venus, including sorting a pile of mixed grains, collecting golden fleece from fierce rams, and fetching water from a treacherous river. With the help of supernatural beings and objects, such as ants and a reed that provides advice, Psyche successfully completes each task.
shocked/outbeaten
Psyche went in search of Cupid and eventually found him. She then pleaded with Venus for a chance to prove her love for Cupid. Venus set Psyche on a series of difficult tasks to test her devotion.
Psyche didn't exactly have many strengths aside from her beauty. In all of her tasks given to her by Venus, she had assistance.
Psyche angered Venus because mortals believed that she was more beautiful than even she. Venus' temples were abandoned, and all the honors that were once hers were given to a mortal girl. Venus was also angered because Psyche kept succeeding in her tasks.
Psyche completed the tasks with the help of other beings: ants helped her sort out grains, a reed whispered advice for gathering golden fleece from sheep, and an eagle gathered water from a high cliff for her. These creatures contributed to her success in completing the tasks set by Venus.
Nobody was all the time. When Psyche undertakes the tasks given her by Venus, she gets help from the ants, and a river god, etcetera.
If Psyche ever sees Venus, Venus swore to leave her forever.
