He became to popular on the AIM service and took up to much of the band-width so they retired him on November 18th 2008 for AIM. Subsequently on June 15th 2009 when ever spoken to on other on-line messengers he always replied with a 'My brain is retired,' followed by an advertisement. He then became fully retired on all servers, probably for the same reason as AIM, I know it bummed me out too.
