It isn't. It works fine for me and everyone else. That means the issue has to be at your end.

• Switch to Firefox or Chrome if you are using internet Explorer. IE is sluggish on modern websites.
• Clear your cache
• Make sure your browser is up to date
• Make sure your java is up to date
• Perform a virus scan
• Perform a malware scan
• Join Answers as a proper registered member to get access to better tools and settings, such as the ability to hide adverts
  

The site is undergoing an overhaul, but it's been going pretty well ! A couple things you can do that might help is to delete temporary Browser files. Also, check for adware and malware on your PC. Lastly, sometimes Browsers can make a big difference in how each loads pages.

Since sites are not alive, they can neither be friendly nor unfriendly. However, some people might not like the layout of the site or consider it difficult to use or navigate.

If you are referring to the people on the site, it depends who you are talking about. Community assistants and volunteer supervisors tend to be friendly, though of course, we are all human, and some users may have had less than stellar communications with those who run the site. Plus, if users are vandalizing the site or speaking abusively, it is quite difficult to be nice to them, though those in charge strive to always act professionally and respectful.
