Here is the lowdown: Computers use binary code so it's different how humans and computers think...
In rounded terms:
1000 megabytes (mb) = 1 gigabyte (gb)
In actuality (computer terms):
1024 megabytes (mb) = 5120 megabytes or 1 gigabyte (gb)
(It has something to do with binary numbers as to why it's off by 24 mb)
So... To answer your question...
Rounded off:
5 gb = 5000 mb
5000-717= 4283 mb (all numbers rounded) (4.3 gb left)
In actuality (computer terms):
5120-716.912= 4403.09 mb (numbers NOT rounded) (4.40309 gb left)
Always remember to round UP if possible, to leave yourself some room.
Rounded, you have 4.3 gb left
Computer terms, you have 4.403 gb left
Hope this helps,

You have 1.2 GB left
About 2.85 but usually less for formatting space
plug it into your computer and look at the info... it will say how many gigabytes you will have left and how many you used
5gb=5000mb 189.953 mb=0.189953 gb
Left click on "My Computer" on your desktop. Right click on "Local Disk (C)" Left click on "Properties". The GB used are shown in graphic form and in numeric form.
4.835815 GB, or 4835.815 MB. there is 1000 MB in 1 GB
It depends on how the space was calculated, but if you ignore that you would have 4.485 GB left. Correctish!
gigabytes is a measurement of memory. so basically, how many gigabytes you have left on your computer is how much memory you have left.
1.72 gb
About 200
If you have used 8.1 MB out of 1 GB it means you still have 991.9 MB left. 1GB is equal to 1000 MB
You will need at least 7.5 Gb free hard drive space for Left 4 Dead.
