You can add any eBooks on to a nook A's long as they are in PDF, PDB, or EPUB format. You plug in your nook and go to the "my stuff" file and there should be a folder that says books. Then you drag and drop into that folder and then you enjoy our free books on your nook.

if you go to your library on the nook at the top it will say "shop now" in blue letters. if you click on that it will take you to the nook store. there you can search any book or app you want.
It should play. But if it doesn't, it is mostly because of the limited space in the books. Music takes up much more space then books. The Nook is made for books, and isn't supposed to be a MP3 player.
