NO, absolutly not, 240pin works with 240pin slot and 184pin works with 184pin slot
By an order of 2.
no it can not..2 different sticks of ram
its a type of DDR RAM
This is some specification for RAM modules: DDR3 240-pin DDR 2 240Pin DDR 184 Pin SDRAM 168-pin SODIMM 200-pin DDR2 SODIMM 200-pin DDR,DDR2 and DDR3 have 2 holes SDRAM have 3 holes
No way!,184 mem chip is notched to fit ONLY a like notched motherboard slot.Totally bad idea.
DDR 1 USE 184 PINS THE BEST THING IS TO TAKE DDR AND CHECK THE PIN AREA THAT IS GOLD PLATED YOU WILL FIND WRITTEN 1-96 AND OTHER SIDE 97 -184 THAT MEANS YOU ARE USING DDR1 DDR 2 USE 240 PINS SAME THING FOR DDR2 AND IT WRITTEN 240 MUSTAFA AHMED KHAN DDR 1 USE 184 PINS THE BEST THING IS TO TAKE DDR AND CHECK THE PIN AREA THAT IS GOLD PLATED YOU WILL FIND WRITTEN 1-96 AND OTHER SIDE 97 -184 THAT MEANS YOU ARE USING DDR1 DDR 2 USE 240 PINS SAME THING FOR DDR2 AND IT WRITTEN 240 MUSTAFA AHMED KHAN DDR 1 USE 184 PINS THE BEST THING IS TO TAKE DDR AND CHECK THE PIN AREA THAT IS GOLD PLATED YOU WILL FIND WRITTEN 1-96 AND OTHER SIDE 97 -184 THAT MEANS YOU ARE USING DDR1 DDR 2 USE 240 PINS SAME THING FOR DDR2 AND IT WRITTEN 240 MUSTAFA AHMED KHAN
you need ddr2 240 pin
DDR has a 184-pin DIMM interface and DDR2 has 240. DDR2 runs cooler and has generally slower timings but is a lot faster than DDR in the end. DDR2 is capable of holding more ram on one DIMM.
ddr266/pc2100 and ddr333/pc2700 are interchangeable.
A DIMM is based on two different pin counts. SDRAM has 168 pins and is an earlier generation of RAM. DDR RAM has 184 pins. Both are considered DIMMS.
No. You can put faster RAM in a motherboard that uses a lower speed, as long as the type of RAM (DDR, DDR2, DDR3, etc...) is correct. You just won't receive any speed benefit.
While 184-pin DIMMs and 168-pin DIMMs are approximately the same size, 184-pin DIMMs have only one notch within the row of pins
