Under reasonable circumstances - no.

But semen prefers a slightly lower temperature than the rest of the body.(that's why the testicles are in that little sac outside the body cavity).

If a man spend a lot of time with a warm laptop in his lap, it is likely that the quality and amount of his sperm becomes somewhat reduced.

For a guy starting with a low sperm count, anything that makes it even lower might be enough to make him functionally sterile.

For most, it's not enough to matter, and a change of habits will make the effects pass.

Instead of worrying if a computer can make you sterile, why not sterilize your computer?!?!?! First, get 10 bottles of lysol, then 2 gallons of Clorox bleach, rubbing alcohol, 3 buckets of water, a fire extinguisher, a phone, 20 rolls of paper towels, and finally money.

1. Now what you have to do is take a bottle of lysol and spray it all over the computer until the computer is dripping lemony freshness (be sure to use all 10 bottles).

2. Then, take your 2 gallons of Clorox and dump it over everything (make sure to get inside all the crevices).

3. After this, add a dash of rubbing alcohol over everything. Now at this point, your computer probably has short circuited and a fire has started. This is good because this will burn all bacteria away.

4. Because of the fire, you panic and try to put out the fire by pouring 3 buckets of water on it, which ends up making it worse.

5. This is the point when you pull out the fire extinguisher and attempt to put out the fire.

6. If it still doesn't go out, take your phone and call the fire department.

7. After all this has occurred, there is going to be a slight mess. This is where the 20 rolls of paper towels come into play.

8. Once you're done cleaning up the whole mess, you are going to need a heck of a lot of money to pay for new floors, new walls, a new computer, and anything else that was around it (possibly for healthcare insurance as well). If you follow these nice easy steps, your computer will be sterile in no time!
