Hi well an ipad can get a virus because it has internet software and malware on it.If you go on the wrong stie you CAN get a virus.iPod tocuhes cant get a virus.Ipod touches cant get viruses and if you get an ipad you can get viruses by dowmloading songs.

No they can not get Viruses. They are not a regular operating system they are an iOS system. Although its compatible with most websites and videos, it is not compatible with OS programs. So for the sake of argument say a virus was downladed to the Ipod/Ipad/any Idevice because its a different OS the iDevice would not know how to read it.

That is saying if you were able to even download the file to begin with. In order to download regular files to you iDevice you would need to jailbreak it. Then at that point like i said the device would not know how to run it. So it would be a file wasting space on your iDevice.

No. There are currently no known viruses that affect the standard, non-jail broken iOS.
