Not very hard at all! Most newer laptops have an access panel on the bottom of the case that can be easily removed with a screwdriver, often these access panels only have one retaining screw. Once the panel has been removed, its a simple matter of uscrewing (or snapping) and unplugging the old drive and replacing it with the new drive. Make sure you check with your laptop's manufacturer to ensure that you buy the correct drive. Also, make sure that any software you may need, such as your operating system, is on hand before removing and existing hardware from your laptop!
you go over to the laptop go to items click on thumb drive and put it in the laptop
You just need to buy a laptop dvd drive, it will work.
Usually yes. You will have to get a computer technician to remove the hard drive from the smashed laptop & recover the data from from the drive. However, if the hard drive was damaged when the laptop was smashed this may not be possible.

The hard drive on a laptop is the same thing as the hard drive in a desktop, only smaller in size. The hard drive stores all your documents, music, videos and software.
Your laptop may not turn on because it is out of power or the hard drive has died.

If the hard drive is still good, it can be removed and easily and inexpensively installed into an enclosure that will give it a USB interface. This can be connected to any other computer that also has a USB interface (like a big thumb drive).
