I have Pinnacle Studio 14 and 15 running on an iMac with Mac OS X 10.7.3, an Intel Core i5 processor and 12 GB of RAM. First I installed Parallels Desktop 6 for Mac. Within Parallels I installed Windows 7 Home Premium. Once those two installations were done, Studio 15 was installed. Runs fine.

You can change the format but it will not work in this case. I recommend you buy Pinnacle Studio 14. It is compatible with Windows XP, Vista and 7. You can use QuickTime Movies (MOV, 3GP, MPEG-4, AVI etc.). You can purchase it for about $50 (Used) or about $80 (New). To upgrade it to Ultimate, it is an extra $49. If you can't figure out how to use it, watch the tutorials. You can watch them on YouTube. Seach "Pinnacle Studio 14" on YouTube or your search engine (Google, Bing, Yahoo! etc.). It's a good program and try it for yourself.
To fix flickering video in Pinnacle Studio 14, first ensure that your video drivers are up to date, as outdated drivers can cause playback issues. You can also try rendering the video to see if the flickering persists in the final output. If the problem continues, check the source footage for any inherent issues and consider applying a stabilization effect or adjusting the video settings to reduce flickering. Additionally, you may want to try working with a different format or codec for your video files.
