The View buttons appear near the bottom of the screen. You use the View buttons to change between Normal view, Slider Sorter view, and the Slide Show view. Normal View Normal view splits your screen into three major sections: the Outline and Slides tabs, the Slide pane, and the Notes area. The Outline and Slides tabs are on the left side of your window. They enable you to shift between two different ways of viewing your slides. The Slides tab shows thumbnails of your slides. The Outline tab shows the text on your slides. The Slide pane is located in the center of your window. The Slide pane shows a large view of the slide on which you are currently working. The Notes area appears below the Slide pane. You can type notes to yourself on the Notes area. Slide Sorter View Slide Sorter view shows thumbnails of all your slides. In Slide Sorter view, you can easily add, delete, or change their order of your slides. Slide Show Use the Slide Show view when you want to view your slides, as they will look in your final presentation. In Microsoft PowerPoint, the Slide Sorter view displays a miniature of each slide making it easy to reorder slides, add special effects and transitions, and set timing between the slides.
A Slide Sorter allows you to view and arrange multiple slides in a presentation simultaneously in a grid layout. This feature makes it easier to organize, reorder, and manage your slides effectively, enabling you to see the overall flow of the presentation at a glance. You can also delete, duplicate, or add slides directly from the Slide Sorter view.
To add a slide in Slide Sorter view between two existing slides, first, click on the slide that you want the new slide to follow. Then, right-click on it and select "New Slide" from the context menu. Alternatively, you can use the keyboard shortcut (usually Ctrl+M) to insert a new slide. The new slide will be added directly after the selected slide.
If you are asking "How do you Add and Delete Slides" in Microsoft Office PowerPoint, you simply right click on the desired slide in the slide viewer menu to the left of the page and select "New Slide" or "Delete Slide".
