You can't physically "break" a computer (mother board) with a magnet. However, you can corrupt the hard drive, which is essentially breaking it. But you'll need an extremely strong electromagnet because modern hard drives are shielded against such threats. In other words, a refrigerator magnet won't do it.

How is a computer a magnet and how do you use it?

Computer is not magnet. You cannot you it like a magnet. You may have read it from some non real source.See the only place where magnet is is the hard drive or hard disk.and you can only take it out when you break your hard disk.

How do you remagnitize a magnet?

You can remagnetize a magnet by rubbing a good magnet along the bad one. Do this a few times. Be sure to rub the magnet in only one direction.

What is the direction for if want to break a magnet in half to make some piece of magnet?

You can break it in any direction.

Can magnet break a glass?

No, magnets do not have the ability to break glass. Glass is not a magnetic material, so the force of a magnet is not strong enough to break it.

How do you get the patterns and colours on windows media player screen?

By rubbing a magnet on i t.

If you were to break the magnet in your sketch in half what would happen?

I don't see any sketch. But if you break a magnet in two, each part will be a magnet with its own north and south pole.

Do magnets lose their power?

No.If you break the magnet, it is still a useful magnet.

How do you make a powerful magnet?

To make a powerful magnet, use a strong magnetic material like neodymium. Shape it into a magnet by applying a magnetic field while it cools down. Finally, the magnet can be magnetized by rubbing it against a magnet or by exposing it to an electrical current.

How did a magnet become a magnet?

A material becomes a magnet when its domains align in the same direction, creating a magnetic field. This alignment can be achieved by exposing the material to a magnetic field or by rubbing it with an existing magnet.

What happens when you rub a needle on a magnet?

Rubbing a needle on a magnet will align the domains within the needle in the same direction as the magnetic field of the magnet. This causes the needle to become magnetized and exhibit magnetic properties itself.

How do you Turn a non magnetized object into a magnet?

You can turn a non-magnetized object into a magnet by rubbing it with a magnet in the same direction multiple times. This process aligns the magnetic domains within the object, causing it to become magnetized.

What happens when you rub a nail with a magnet?

Rubbing a nail with a magnet will align some of the magnetic domains in the nail. This will have the effect of making the nail into a magnet. The nail won't be a strong magnet, but it will come away with some residual magnetism. Suggestion: try a simple experiment with a nail and a magnet and some small paper clips to see if this works.
