Can you play a PC game on a Mac?

Games are (mostly) either written for the Windows operating system or Mac OS X. A game written for Windows will not work on a computer running Mac OS X and vice versa. Same games have both versions on the same disc, some come as either Mac or Windows versions. Macs can also run the Windows operating system and so can play games written for Windows once it is installed. There are software emulators such as Cross Over Games (See links below) which will work with some, but not all games. Steam also increasingly provide games for both Windows and Mac computers.

Games will require a particular operating system to work. If the game is written for the Windows operating system then it will need Windows to be installed on the Mac for it to work. Specific Mac games are written for Mac OS X and will be labelled as such. That said it is possible to play some Windows games on a Mac without having Windows installed using CrossOver Games (See links below) which emulates the parts of Windows needed to play the game. This does not work for all games and may not work well for some games.

Well since the iPad has so much memorie it would be easier if you bought the iPad version of it. Even if it costs more, at lest it's on you iPad
