Yes I think. I bet there is an option when you download a book or when you run out of space on your nook
First you will need to buy a micro SD card, then load any books, music or photos to the SD card and then insert the card into the nook. The nook will read from the card.
It should play. But if it doesn't, it is mostly because of the limited space in the books. Music takes up much more space then books. The Nook is made for books, and isn't supposed to be a MP3 player.
You don't need to have a SD card to put pictures and music. But since music takes up much more space than books, it would be better to put a SD card if you want a lot of music in your Nook.
Micro-SD
You first get your nook. You put the micro SD Card in the right hand slot on the side of the nook. Then you get the USB cable for your nook and connect your nook to your computer. Two drives should come up. One called nook and the other called untilted or something like that. You go into the one that doesnt say NOOK and then there are your things.
Turning a Nook to an Android devise can be tricky. You have to download and save the Android operating system on to an SD card and install it onto your Nook.
Put it on the Sd card!!
You need a sd card or you can just go on the web on your nook color and hold onto the picture you want and click save image (If you just want pictures
Both the devices are well built and serve their purpose. Nook has the ability to add an sd card to increase the memory. If you already have many kindle books, you should prefer kindle. if you have purchased books in the barnes and nobles store, you should prefer nook.
Using an SD card reader.

The Nintendo DSi cannot save pictures without an SD card. SD card must also be compatible with the Nintendo DSi to be able to save photos.
