Yes, you can. I have a 1 TB External HD and works fine for me.
Downloading on a HD - Yes, When downloading just Browse in my Computer,
then click on something like: Expantion Drive (E:).
Moveing WoW from Local Disk (C:) - I belive you can, just go in to LD then right
click your "World of Warcraft" folder then
click "Copy". Go onto your Expantion Drive
right click, then "Paste", after this WoW
still work. Another way is much simpler...
have your ED(E:) Open, and your LD(C:)
open, then Simply Drag your WoW folder,
from LD then put it in ED...
Depending on the configuration of the computer and the speed of the hard drive. It is always best to install World of Warcraft to the main internal hard drive.
The best place to put World of Warcraft would be on your internal hard drive, however you can also put it on an external hard drive, or another type of removable drive...as long as it can be read and wrote to.
The fastest type of external hard drive would be a external 3.0 USB hard drive.
One can buy an external hard drive from a number of places. Shops that deal with PC/computer components and parts such as PC World or Comet have external hard drives that you can buy. You can also use the internet and use online websites to purchase an external hard drive.
You get another memory storage device, such as an external hard drive, and you copy everything on your hard drive onto the external hard drive, and keep it safe. That way, if your hard drive crashes, then you can take it out, and plug your external hard drive in, and work from that.
You can completely clear your external hard drive by formatting it.
I would get an external 250GB hard drive for movies and pics. Or if you backing up your whole Master drive a 1.5TB External hard drive world be the best.
---- # go to "my computer" # browse to your external hard drive # then open another "my computer" window # drag and drop the file(s) you want to the window displaying the external hard drive. ----
Try cleaning the CD. if that doesn't work World of Warcraft gives you a chance to download the full client for free (requires a World of Warcraft Account). Also, check if you have enough space on your hard drive.
you can go to the service center of your external hard drive.
The external hard drive is a great way of backing up your data.
I'm assuming you mean "How many Gigabytes does World of Warcraft use or take up?" The answer is approximately 17.5GB. That is the size of my file atleast.
