Can you use a fake name when creating an email?

If you want your actual friends to friend you, it would be silly not to. Or you can put like a nick name or something, but if what you mean is, are you allowed to pretend you are a celebrity? Absolutely not. But what you CAN do is you can put your last name as a celebrity's last name, as a joke that you are married to them. Such as, Karen Bieber. But if you wanted to do that I would put your last name before 'Bieber' or whatever your fake last name may be, that way people can search you and also you can pretend it is your 'maiden' name. Another example would be Karen Smith Bieber.

Yes, but then who would add you as a friend, they would simply not know who you are when it could be your own cousin or best friend, because of your false identity.

yes, but don't make it realistic. Make it something like Strawberry Banana. If it is the actual email like XXXXX@XXXX.XXX you can do whatever you want.
