I have a 2008 4 runner 6 cylinder and use a fram PF 3614
The Fram 3614 oil filter is commonly cross-referenced with the Briggs & Stratton part number 492932S. This filter is compatible with various small engines used in lawn mowers and other outdoor equipment. Always verify compatibility with your specific engine model before use.
The 4 cylinder takes a PH 3614 and the 6 cylinder takes a PH16. These are the Fram numbers, you can use them to cross to your favorite brand.
On the Cub Cadet use Fram PH2844 On the Briggs & Stratton use Fram PH8170
Use a Quality Filter WIX # 51348. Also when changing the filter's make sure the old filter gasket comes off with the filter and is not stuck to the engine block.
There is a Fram filter which can be used to replace a 70185B. The Fram equivalent to use is the PH3614.
Fram part #: PH16
Fram PH7575 is what I use on my STX38.
Any place that sells filters can tell you the correct filter. On your GM product I recommend you use an AC/Delco, Purolator, or Wix filter. They are superior to Fram.
No way do you want to use a Fram oil filter. Use Napa, Purolator, Wix, Bosch, or other quality filter. Fram is not a quality filter.
FRAM PH16 or PH7226 full flow.
PH25 is a filter made by Fram no matter what brand it is. If you want to use a quality filter instead of a low quality Fram then use a Purolator L20033. Be sure can check the Purolator application guide to be sure.
