Yes you can although it is rare. However if you keep your mice outside they may become contaminated by visits from wild mice.
You can still get salmonella from domestic mice.
Some nasty wild mice diseases are : helicobacter pylori (causing stomach ulcers), Hanta virus (this can kill you but it is very rare so don't panic....yet) . You can also catch a type of meningitis ,richellsial pox and good old leptspirosi (although rats normally carry this in their urine). This illness can produce flu like symptoms or it can kill you !
However if you buy your mice from a reputable and clean pet shop and they buy their mice from known suppliers you should have no trouble. Do keep your mice cage clean. This is hard work as you really need to do this every 3 days. Mice are not the easy pets most people imagine as the hygiene side of things can be difficult unless you are prepared to clean the cage and supply fresh bedding at least twice a week. A build up of mouse urine can cause harmful fumes that can cause respiratory irritations in humans.

I think you should bring your pet mouse to the vet when its sick: running nose and or coughing hard. Bring your pet rodent to the vet if it has loss of appetite or bleeding.

You feed it a good diet. Get special mouse food from a pet store, and make sure it is drinking. If it is still skinny, then it is sick. Snakes don't care if the mouse is skinny!
