Controlled-based media access control is based upon having a system in place for allowing one host to transmit at a time. It is also known as deterministic method since there is a process to determine which host transmits at a certain time. No collisions exist with this type of media access control. An example would be token ring where a token is passed from host to host and when it has the token it can transmit and others do not transmit at that time.
Contention-based media access control is known as non-deterministic because hosts can transmit whenever they want. CSMA/CD is an example of this. Collisions do exist.
You establish a controlled variable from which you can compare your results from your experimental variables.
It is the plain set up without the variable tested to compare with the other set ups
control is when nothing is done to the experiment and controlled variable is that you have control over the experiment.
The past tense of control is controlled. The future tense is will control.
Controlled experiments contain two parts, the control group and the variable group. The variable group is the group that receives treatment and attention. These two groups are used to compare to each other at the end of the experiment.
If they can't do a controlled experiment chances are they're advanced and know what they're doing. Depending on the experiment itself, the scientist would have to come up with a procedure that doesn't involve a control. Although there may be no official control, they probably still compare the results to something.
Generally remote control cars are controlled via either a cable or infared, where as radio controlled cars are strictly controlled by radio waves. However radio controlled cars can also be described as remote controlled.
Control
You can control it that's why its called control variable.
An investigation in science that is controlled is an experiment. The group within the experiment that is controlled is the control group.
No, in the US the birth control pill is a legend drug and requires a prescription, but it is not a controlled substance.
The past tense of "control" would be "controlled".
