Dave, In my experience, it's generally better to replace a 5 year old mobo, rather than try to fix it. As far as detailed schematics, generally those are proprietary information that manufacturers generally don't allow out to the public. You'd be very hard pressed to find anything more detailed than what Kenny sent you last night. One additional thing you might try... I had a similar issue with a computer a while back, and it ended up being the the battery. I've seen computers do some funny things when they don't have a working mobo battery.
