A hard drive comes with the Computer.
A hard drive is considered permanent as opposed to magnetic tape. The data in tape can be accessed only serially whereas randomly in hard drive.
A serial hard drive is the same as a SATA hard drive. SATA is Serial ATA, and PATA is Parallel ATA.
HDD stands for Hard Disk Drive... FDD stands for Floppy Disk Drive...
A hard drive.
A USB flash drive is a type of external drive. If you meant external drive as an external hard drive, then no, there won't be any difference in the pictures. However, if you're archiving, I'd suggest an external hard drive, because they work best for archiving.

You save data by copying it from memory to your hard drive. You back it up by copying it from your hard drive to a CD (or other removable medium).
16 gb solid state drive holds 1/10th the capacity of a 160 gb hard drive. The solid state drive has no moving parts unlike a hard drive. Also the SSD has faster speeds than the HD
A 16 gigabyte solid-state drive and a 160 gigabyte hard drive vary based on how their data is stored. Solid-state drives use integrated circuit assemblies as memory. Hard drives use moving electromechanical magnetic disks to store data.
I think the retail kit gives you a box, cables, maybe a manual and warranty info while the other does not.
Its called your hard drive.
80GB. The only difference between the two are the hard drive capacities.
Hard drive is where all of your data is saved, it's a hardware component of your computer. The mother board is where all of these components are connected to your computer and allows them to work together.
