Memory refers to random access memory (RAM) and storage refers to your hard disk space. Hard disk is what you save all you files and operating systems on and ram remembers where to find recently used items in order to bring them back fast. It's like if you think of your house as your storage. All the stuff you own is in your home but stuff you used recently you remember exactly wear it is, like maybe you wallet or keys, and that would be your memory
i am not sure
difference between register and memory location
A
Main memory (RAM) is fast, volatile, and used for temporary storage during program execution, while backing storage (like hard drives or SSDs) is slower, non-volatile, and used for long-term storage of data.
Magicgate memory sticks are set memory storage. Whereas Mark ii memory sticks have custom options and available card adapters.
secondary memory is actually the permanent memory/the backing storage of the computer. it is of two types:sequential accessdirect accessauxiliary memory is the computer's internal/temporary memory. it is also of two types:random access memory (RAM)read only memory (ROM)the difference between secondary memory and auxiliary memory is that:-both are same i.e both performs the same operationsthanks.
What is the difference between a regular memory card and an Ultra Memory card
what is the difference between the memory store model and the working memory model?
there is no difference!
Backing storage is where information can be repeatedly stored and modified in a permanent way and main storage is main storage is understood to be the program addressable memory that houses the executable and data necessary to launch and run various systems and programs. More commonly referred to as primary storage or memory, main storage directly interfaces with the CPU, which reads the instructions connected with the executable and performs the tasks necessary to handle the data. All data necessary for the effective function of programs saved on the hard drive is maintained in the main storage.
1. There is more room in the storage than in the memory. 2. contents are retained in storage when you turn the computer off, whereas the programs or data you put into memory disappear when you shut down the computer. 3. storage is very slow compared to memory, but is more cheaper than memory
The only difference is the memory size, with the 4gb having more storage space.
