There is no Apple computer simply called the "Mac", aside from possibly the "Macintosh" system released in the 80's. I'm going to assume by "Mac", you mean "iMac".
In that case, the iMac is an all in one system (just a monitor, keyboard, and mouse. No tower) and is for the average consumer. The Mac Pro, however, is a tower (similar to many PC's) with a monitor. The Mac Pro is, as the name indicates, for professional users. It's incredibly powerful, fast, and expensive, but it's absolutely great for users whose professional field is in video, or any other power-intensive work.
If you're looking to work with audio or graphics, an iMac 20-inch (for Audio) or iMac 24-inch (for Graphics) would suffice.

Mac Pro is better than Mac Genius. Mac Pro is a faster computer than Mac Genius. It has old Mac based proceesors but it is faster.
