Yes, whatever row or rows are selected are where the new row or rows will appear. The existing row or rows will be pushed down.
Click on the header at the start of a row and it will select the entire record.

1. open the table you are working with2. select the design view... located on the left of the ribbon in the home tabyou should see two columns "field names" and "data type"3. find the "field name" row you want the difference to be calculated.4. in that row click the cell in the "data type" column.a box arrow should appear in the right corner of the cell5. click the box arrow and select option calculatedthe "expression builder" window should appear6. in the "expression builder" window find the sub-window titled "expression categories"this should contain all of the "field name" in the table7. double click the "field name" of what you want to subtract from[field name] should appear in the top sub-window of the "expression builder" window8. then enter the minus sign and double click the "field name" for the second value of the expression.should end up with [field name]-[field name]9. click ok in the "expression builder" window, then click yes when it prompts you to save10. return to "datasheet view" and the column should automatically format itself.hope this helps
